Pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi
Join us on a sacred pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi, where faith, history, and beauty come alive. We’ll begin in the Eternal City, experiencing the grandeur of Ancient Rome, celebrating Mass in its most iconic basilicas, and joining the Holy Father at the Papal Audience. Highlights include visiting treasures such as the 4 Major Basilicas, along with unique moments like a pizza-making class and exploring the layers of San Clemente. From there, we’ll travel north to Orvieto to venerate the Eucharistic Miracle before continuing to Assisi, the home of St. Francis and St. Clare. In this peaceful hillside town, we’ll pray at the Basilica of St. Francis, visit the Portiuncula, and honor St. Carlo Acutis at his resting place, leaving us deeply renewed in faith and fellowship.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Monday, May 17 - Depart USA
Depart on independent overnight flights to Rome, Italy.
Day 2: Tuesday, May 18 - Arrival Rome | Ancient Rome
Arrive in the Eternal City and embark on an immersive tour of Ancient Rome. Check in to your hotel and celebrate Mass, followed by a group welcome dinner.
Day 3: Wednesday, May 19 - Papal Audience | Santa Maria Sopra Minerva | St. Mary Major
Depart early morning and see the Holy Father at the Papal Audience before embarking on a walking tour of the city, visiting sites like the Spanish Steps, Pantheon, and Santa Maria Sopra Minerva. Enjoy a pizza making class, and end the day with Mass and a tour of St. Mary Major.
Day 4: Thursday, May 20 - St. John Lateran | Santa Croce | St. Paul Outside the Walls
Wake up and celebrate Mass at St. John Lateran, followed by a guided tour of the Basilica, a visit to the Scala Sancta, and a tour of Santa Croce. Continue to St. Paul Outside the Walls for a tour.
Day 5: Friday, May 21 - St. Peter’s Basilica | San Clemente
Celebrate Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, followed by a guided tour and time for quiet prayer and reflection. Afterward, embark on a tour of San Clemente and the excavations underneath, exploring older churches the deeper you go.
Day 6: Saturday, May 22 - Orvieto | Assisi
Check out your hotel and travel north to Orvieto, where you will celebrate Mass at the Duomo and spend time in prayer at the Chapel of the Eucharistic Miracle. After an afternoon at leisure, continue to Assisi for a group dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Sunday, May 23 – Assisi | Portiuncula | St. Mary of the Angels
Start the day with Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis and a visit to the Portiuncula, where God commanded Francis to rebuild his Church. After lunch on your own, enjoy a serene walking tour of the rest of the town, including the Church of St. Clare and St. Mary of the Angels, where St. Carlo Acutis currently rests.
Day 8: Monday, May 24 - Assisi
After breakfast, visit the serene Franciscan Hermitage and celebrate an outdoor Mass surrounded by nature. Gather for a farewell group lunch, then spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 9: Tuesday, May 25 - Return to USA
Early morning transfer to Rome airport for your return flight(s) home.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS:
Deposit: $500 per person due upon registration
Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due on or before December 18, 2026
Final Payment: Balance due on or before February 16, 2027.
Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee.
All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
