Join Msgr. Joseph Schaedel and fellow Indianapolis Chapter members on a pilgrimage to the Eternal City during America Week. Experience Rome as never before with guided tours led by world-renowned art historian and sommelier Dr. Elizabeth Lev. ITINERARY


Day 1: Sunday, April 12 - Depart for Rome

Depart USA on overnight flights to Rome, Italy.


Day 2: Monday, April 13 - Rome | St. Mary Major Sunset Experience

Upon arrival in Rome, enjoy a private or semi-private transfer to the hotel. Meet your Italian tour manager as you check into the hotel and enjoy time at leisure. The pilgrimage will begin at the Basilica of St. Mary Major to celebrate Mass and a once-in-a-lifetime ‘sunset experience’. Experience a private tour as the Basilica is closing and then cherish a special reception on the rooftop of the Basilica. Overnight in Rome.


Day 3: Tuesday, April 14 - St. Paul Outside the Walls | San Clemente Angelicum & The Hillbilly Thomists

Celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, then enjoy a guided visit and a special reception with Cardinal Harvey. Continue to the historic Basilica of San Clemente for an exclusive tour. The afternoon is open for rest or exploration. In the evening, visit the Angelicum, alma mater of Pope Leo XIV, for an exclusive tour, reception, and concert by The Hillbilly Thomists. Dinner on your own and overnight in Rome.


Day 4: Wednesday, April 15 - Papal Audience | Pasta Making | Private Sistine Chapel

This morning, attend the Wednesday Papal Audience in St. Peter’s Square. It is our hope to receive approval for special seating and the opportunity for a photo or private greeting with the Holy Father (pending confirmation). Afterwards, learn the art of making authentic Italian pasta with a group pasta-making lunch. Later, experience a private, after-hours visit to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, concluding with a reception in the museum courtyard (pending confirmation).


Thursday, April 16 - St. Peter's Basilica | Swiss Guard Barracks | Rector's Dinner

Celebrate an early morning Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica. Then, enjoy an exclusive visit to the Swiss Guard Barracks to witness the armory and receive insight into the life of the guards. The afternoon will be free for shopping and exploration. The 32nd annual Rector’s Dinner will be this evening for those who select the option to attend. Overnight in Rome.


Friday, April 17 - Basilica of Sant’Andrea della Valle

This morning, experience a Eucharistic Holy Hour and celebrate Mass at the incredible Basilica of Sant’Andrea della Valle. The remainder of the day will be at leisure before coming back together for a 

special farewell dinner.


Saturday, April 18 - Return to USA

Transfer to the airport for return flights home. A private or semi-private transfer will be arranged for you.

*This price reflects a $300 per person Early  Booking Discount for deposits received before September 30, 2025 and a $200 per person Check  Discount for those paying the total cost of the  tour by Check. Payment must be received on or before the final payment due date.

TRAVEL PROTECTION: 

Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel protection is highly recommended. 


PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS: 

Deposit: $1,000 per person due upon registration

Second Deposit: $1,500 additional due on or before November 13, 2025

Final Payment: Balance due on or before January 13, 2026

Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee. 


All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
