ITINERARY
Day 1: Saturday, October 26 - Depart for Rome
Depart the USA on overnight flights to Rome, Italy.
Day 2: Sunday, October 27 - Rome | Pompeii
Upon arrival in Rome, meet your Italian tour manager and travel by private motor coach towards Pompeii. Make a stop in Nettuno for Mass at the tomb of St. Maria Goretti. Continue to your hotel for a welcome dinner and overnight near the Mediterranean Sea.
Day 3: Monday, October 28 - Pompeii | Sorrento
Start your day with a morning visit to Pompeii, celebrating Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary. Discover the inspiring story of Blessed Bartolo Longo, the shrine’s builder. Explore the Pompeii ruins before a group pizza lunch. Afterward, return to the hotel and freshen up before a delightful group dinner in Sorrento.
Day 4: Tuesday, October 29 - Amalfi | Ravello | Praiano
Embark on a breathtaking morning drive along the Amalfi Coast, renowned as one of the world’s most beautiful roads. Stop in Amalfi to celebrate Mass at the Cathedral of Amalfi, dedicated to St. Andrew, housing his relics and crypt. Continue to Ravello and enjoy a special lunch. After a leisurely walk through the charming streets of Ravello, gather for a special reception with music. Return to your hotel for an overnight.
Day 5: Wednesday, October 30 - Gargano | San Giovanni Rotondo
Set out for a journey to the Adriatic Sea on Italy’s east coast and the stunning region of Puglia. Stop first at the Cave of St. Michael in the whitewashed mountaintop town of Gargano to celebrate Mass in St. Michael’s Cave. Enjoy an afternoon tour of the sites dedicated to St. Padre Pio before dinner at your hotel in San Giovanni Rotondo.
Day 6: Thursday, October 31 - Bari
Check out of the hotel and head towards Bari. Upon arrival, celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Nicholas. Explore the picturesque old Bari, locally known as “Bari Vecchia,” full of ancient traditions, colorful fish markets, and medieval architecture. Enjoy a pasta demonstration, followed by a group dinner. Check into the hotel for an overnight in Polignano a Mare.
Day 7: Friday, November 1 - Alberobello Day Trip
Celebrate a morning Mass and then depart for the fairytale village of Alberobello. This World Heritage Site is famous for its “trulli”, or cone shaped houses that dot the landscape. Enjoy an afternoon for shopping, and an evening at leisure in Polignano a Mare.
Day 8: Saturday, November 2 - Matera Day Trip
Start your day with Mass and a tour in Sassidi Matera, the oldest city in Europe, with human settlements dating back to 10,000 years ago. Matera is also famous as a filming location for the Passion of the Christ and was declared a “European Capital of Culture.” After a group lunch, return to Polignano a Mare for an overnight.
Day 9: Sunday, November 3 - Monte Cassino | Rome
Check out of the hotel and head toward Rome with a stop at the Monastery of Monte Cassino. Enjoy a brief tour and Mass at the tombs of St. Benedict and St. Scholastica. Continue to Rome for a group farewell dinner and overnight in the Eternal City.
Day 10: Monday, November 4 - Depart for USA
Transfer to the Rome airport for your return flights home.

Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due 150 days prior to departure (5/29/2024)
Final Payment: Balance due on or before 90 days prior to departure (7/29/2024)
