Join St. Anselm's Abbey School on an inspiring nine-day pilgrimage through Italy in the footsteps of St. Benedict! Immerse yourself in the serenity of Norcia, visiting sites foundational to the life of St. Benedict and the Benedictine order. In Rome, experience the fullness of the spiritual treasures offered by the Eternal City. Tour all four of the Major Basilicas, including St. Peter's, where you will celebrate Mass. End your pilgrimage with a trip to the famous Montecassino Abbey learning about it's historical and spiritual significance.

Day 1: Friday, June 5 - Depart USA
Depart on overnight flights to Rome, Italy.
Day 2: Saturday, June 6 - Arrive in Rome | Norcia
Arrive in Rome and meet your Italian Tour Manager, who will guide you throughout the week. Transfer to Norcia and celebrate opening Mass at the recently restored St. Benedict's Basilica. Enjoy a group welcome dinner and spend the night in Norcia.
Day 3: Sunday, June 7 - Norcia | Abbey of Sant’Eutizio & Monastery of St. Benedict
Celebrate Mass in the chapel of the Abbey of Sant’Eutizio. Enjoy a beer tasting and lunch with the Benedictines, followed by a late afternoon walking tour of Norcia. Overnight in Norcia.
Day 4: Monday, June 8 - Norcia | Truffle Hunting Experience
After Mass, embark on a truffle hunting experience. Enjoy a group lunch before continuing to Rome. Check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight in Rome.
Day 5: Tuesday, June 9 - Day Trip to Subiaco
Depart for Subiaco and celebrate Mass at the Monastery of St. Benedict. Explore the Shrine of the Sacred Cave of St. Benedict and the nearby St. Scholastica monastery. Return to Rome for an evening at leisure. Overnight in Rome.
Day 6: Wednesday, June 10 - St. Peter’s Basilica | Scavi | Private After-Hours Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel
Today, go beneath the Vatican for a Scavi tour of the Necropolis. The afternoon will be at leisure, with dinner on your own. In the evening, enjoy a private after-hours tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel*. Overnight in Rome.
Day 7: Thursday, June 11 - Major Basilicas | Sant’Anselmo
Celebrate early morning Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, followed by tours of St. Mary Major and St. John Lateran. Visit Casa Balthasar and attend evening Mass at Sant’Anselmo. Explore the Trastevere area and visit the small church of St. Benedict in Piscinula. Overnight in Rome.
Day 8: Friday, June 12 - Day Trip to Montecassino Abbey
Transfer to Montecassino Abbey and celebrate Mass, venerating the bodies of Saint Benedict and Saint Scholastica. Visit the museum to learn about the Abbey's history. Return to Rome for a farewell dinner. Overnight in Rome.
Day 9: Saturday, June 13 - Return to the USA
Transfer to the airport for your return flights back to the USA

*This price reflects a $250 per person Early Booking Discount for deposits received before August 15, 2025 and a $150 per person Check Discount for those paying the total cost of the tour by Check. Payment must be received on or before the final payment due date.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS:
Deposit: $500 per person due upon registration
Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due on or before March 7, 2026
Final Payment: Balance due June 6, 2026
Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee.
All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
