Begin your pilgrimage in Rome before traveling south to Pompeii, where you will celebrate Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii and explore the region surrounding Mount Vesuvius. Enjoy an excursion to the island of Capri, celebrating Mass at the Chiesa di San Costanzo and taking in sweeping coastal views from Mount Solaro. Travel along the Amalfi Coast to Positano for Mass and free time by the sea, followed by a guided visit to the ancient ruins of Pompeii. Continue to Naples to venerate sacred sites, including the Cathedral and San Domenico Maggiore, visiting the cell of St. Thomas Aquinas. Journey north to Montecassino before arriving in Rome, where you will celebrate Mass in the great basilicas, tour the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, attend the Papal Audience, and conclude your pilgrimage with time for prayer at St. Peter’s and St. Mary Major.

ITINERARY
Day 1: Tuesday, October 6 - Depart for Rome
Depart the United States on overnight flights to Rome, Italy.
Day 2: Wednesday, October 7 - Pompeii
Upon arrival in Rome, travel by motorcoach to Pompeii. Celebrate Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii, one of southern Italy’s most revered Marian shrines. The evening concludes with dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in Pompeii.
Day 3: Thursday, October 8 - Capri | Pompeii
A morning boat ride brings the day to the island of Capri. Celebrate Mass at the Chiesa di San Costanzo, followed by a lift to Mount Solaro. Time is available to enjoy the island before returning to Pompeii for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Friday, October 9 - Pompeii | Positano
Travel to the coastal town of Positano for Mass and time at leisure to explore its charming streets and seaside beauty. Later, return to Pompeii for a guided tour of the ancient city. Dinner and overnight in Pompeii.
Day 5: Saturday, October 10 - Naples
The morning begins with travel to Naples for Mass at the Cathedral. Visits continue at San Domenico Maggiore, including the historic cell of St. Thomas Aquinas. The afternoon is free to explore the city before returning to Pompeii for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Sunday, October 11 - Montecassino | Rome
Depart Pompeii early and stop at Montecassino Abbey for Mass and a guided visit of the monastery founded by St. Benedict. Continue to Rome for hotel check-in and dinner. Overnight in Rome.
Day 7: Monday, October 12 - Rome
Celebrate Mass at St. John Lateran, followed by a guided visit. The day continues with a tour of St. Paul Outside the Walls and an afternoon at leisure, ending with dinner and overnight in Rome.
Day 8: Tuesday, October 13 - Rome
The morning begins with Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica, followed by a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. After time at leisure to explore Ancient Rome or other nearby sites, reconvene for dinner and overnight in Rome.
Day 9: Wednesday, October 14 - Rome
Mass is celebrated at St. Mary Major, followed by a guided visit and time for prayer. Attendance at a Papal Audience highlights the day, along with a visit to the Church of the Twelve Apostles. A special farewell dinner at Restaurant Abruzzi concludes the pilgrimage. Overnight in Rome.
Day 10: Thursday, October 15 - Return Home
Transfer to the airport for the return flight to the United States.
