Itinerary


DAY 1: Thursday, September 18 • Depart USA

Depart from Blessed Sacrament Parish to O’Hare Airport for your overnight flight to Munich, Germany.


DAY 2: Friday, September 19 • Arrive in Munich

Upon arrival in Munich, meet your tour manager and transfer to the hotel. After check-in, celebrate Mass at Heilig Geist Church. If time allows, visit Marienplatz to see the famous Glockenspiel. Enjoy a group welcome dinner. Overnight in Munich.


DAY 3: Saturday, September 20 • Munich | Oktoberfest

Begin with Mass at St. Peter’s Church, followed by free time to explore Munich and attend Oktoberfest. Later, enjoy a walking tour of the city, followed by leisure time to explore the local German cuisine. Overnight in Munich.


DAY 4: Sunday, September 21 • Altotting | Marktl | Burghausen | Salzburg

This morning, depart for Altotting and celebrate Mass at Altotting Shrine, commonly known as the Lourdes of Germany. Visit the town of Marktl, the birthplace of Pope Benedict XVI, then continue to Burghausen for a tour of the world’s longest castle. Arrive in Salzburg for an overnight.


DAY 5: Monday, September 22 • Stille Nacht Chapel | Maria Plain Basilica

Visit Sankt Radegund to celebrate Mass and tour Blessed Franz Jägerstätter’s home. Continue to the Silent Night Chapel and Maria Plain Basilica to see the miraculous Marian image. Conclude with an evening at your leisure in Salzburg.


DAY 6: Tuesday, September 23 • Lake Konigssee | Berchtesgaden

Take a boat ride on Lake Königssee in Berchtesgaden, followed by Mass at St. Bartholomew Church. Return to Salzburg for leisure time and overnight.


DAY 7: Wednesday, September 24 • Feast of St. Rupert | Sound of Music Tour

Celebrate the Feast of St. Rupert, with prayer at St. Peter’s Abbey and Mass at Salzburg Cathedral. Enjoy the famous Sound of Music Tour before embarking to the Hohensalzburg Castle for a group dinner and tour.


DAY 8: Thursday, September 25 • Salzburg | Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Depart for Garmisch-Partenkirchen, stopping at St. Coloman’s Church, to celebrate Mass. Check in to your hotel and enjoy a group dinner.


DAY 9: Friday, September 26 • Oberammergau | Ettal Abbey

Visit Oberammergau, known for its famous Passion Play, followed by a trip to Ettal Abbey, a historic Benedictine monastery, to celebrate Mass. Return to Garmisch-Partenkirchen for an evening at leisure and overnight.


DAY 10: Saturday, September 27 • Free Day | Munich

Enjoy a leisurely day exploring the local area. Gather for lunch on your own at Schönegger Käse-Alm, celebrate a Vigil Mass at Wieskirche, and travel to Munich for the final evening, with time to explore local cuisine. Overnight in Munich.


DAY 11: Sunday, September 28 • Return to USA

Transfer to Munich airport for return flights home, then onto Blessed Sacrament Parish via motorcoach.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION TERMS:

Deposit: $500 per person due upon registration

Second Payment: $1,250 per person due on or before 4/21/2025

Final Payment: Balance due 6/20/2025

Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee. 


All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
