Footsteps of St. Dominic Pilgrimage to Spain, France, and Italy

Fr. Langlois, O.P. and Fr. Solitario, O.P. would like to invite you to a very special pilgrimage, In the Footsteps of St. Dominic.  Our journey will take us from his birthplace, the tiny village of Caleruega in the Spanish province of Burgos, to the bustling southern French city of Toulouse and its beautiful surrounding countryside, where he founded the Order of Preachers in 1216, and finally to Rome and Bologna, where he spent his final years organizing the Order, and died in 1221.   For the most part, this will be an “off the beaten path” type of pilgrimage, introducing you to places, churches, and landscapes that most American tourists never see!  That being said, we will also include a visit to one the most popular pilgrimage sites in the world—the Marian shrine of Lourdes.  Although the apparitions at Lourdes occurred in 1858, several centuries after St. Dominic, a pilgrimage through southern France would not be complete without a stop there!  I hope you’ll be able to join us for this “once-in-a-lifetime” experience!
