A Pilgrimage through Poland with Fr. Mike Schmitz

This tour is currently SOLD OUT. Please phone our team on 866.468.1420 to join the waitlist.

We warmly invite you to join us on a deeply spiritual journey—a Catholic pilgrimage to Poland, a land steeped in faith, history, and the powerful witness of saints and martyrs. Together, we will walk in the footsteps of Saint John Paul II. We will begin our journey in Zakopane, a favorite retreat of Saint John Paul II. We will also visit his hometown of Wadowice, pray at the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy where Saint Faustina received the message of God’s mercy, and reflect at the solemn grounds of Auschwitz, honoring the sacrifice of Saint Maximilian Kolbe. Lastly, we will spend time in Częstochowa, home to the revered icon of the Black Madonna, a symbol of faith and national identity in Poland. In the heart of Kraków, we will celebrate the beauty of our Catholic faith through daily Mass, prayer, and fellowship. This pilgrimage is more than a journey, it is an invitation to encounter Christ more deeply through the sacred places and holy people of Poland. We hope you will prayerfully consider joining me on this grace-filled experience.

The evening concludes with a group dinner at the hotel and restful overnight accommodations.

Day 3: Monday, March 9 - Zakopane | Our Lady of Fatima

Experience a full day of exploration in Zakopane, affectionately known as the “Winter Capital of Poland.” A sightseeing tour introduces its alpine charm, followed by a funicular ride up Gubałówka Hill, weather permitting. Pilgrims then gather at the Church of Our Lady of Fatima to celebrate Mass and spend a peaceful Holy Hour in Adoration. The day concludes with a traditional mountaineer dinner, complete with local folk music, and an overnight stay in Zakopane.

Day 4: Tuesday, March 10 - Wadowice

After hotel check-out, the group departs for Wadowice, with a brief stop in Ludzmierz. In Wadowice, pilgrims explore the birthplace of Pope John Paul II, including a visit to his childhood home. Mass is celebrated at the Papal Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary, followed by time in Adoration. The journey continues to Krakow for hotel check-in and overnight rest.

Day 5: Wednesday, March 11 - Krakow

Today features a rich exploration of Krakow’s spiritual and cultural treasures. Highlights include Wawel Hill with its cathedral and the vibrant Main Market Square with St. Mary’s Church. The afternoon is open for leisure, allowing pilgrims to explore the heart of Krakow at their own pace before overnighting in the city.
