Relationship Manager, Faith and Pilgrimage

Hunt. Build. Own a book of business that takes people to the places that move them.

This isn’t a desk job — it’s a builder’s role. As Relationship Manager for Corporate Travel’s Faith & Pilgrimage division, you’ll go out and find group leaders, win their trust, and turn them into multi-year clients. You set the pace. You own the pipeline. And every group you contract is a real journey to Rome, the Holy Land, Lourdes, Fátima, the Camino de Santiago, and beyond.

We’re looking for hunters — entrepreneurial closers who wake up thinking about the next group leader they’re going to land, and who are energized by the chance to build a book from the ground up in a category that actually means something.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Hunt. Source, qualify, and win new group leader relationships — parishes, schools, faith communities, alumni networks. New logos are the scoreboard.

  • Sell. Run discovery meetings, pitch itineraries, close contracts, reactivate dormant accounts.

  • Build. Co-create world-class pilgrimage itineraries with our Project Management team that wow clients and protect margins.

  • Own it. Manage your portfolio end-to-end — from first conversation to departure meeting to the post-tour follow-up that becomes next year’s deal.

  • Lead the room. Present confidently to congregations, leadership boards, and large groups.

  • Sharpen your edge.  Continuously deepen your command of destinations, sites, lodging, dining, and logistics until you sound like the expert your clients deserve.

  • Deliver. Make sure every client has the right documents in their hands at the right time.

WHAT YOU GET
  • Competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions

  • Real ownership of your book

  • A category that matters: you’re not selling widgets, you’re enabling life-changing journeys

  • Travel — site inspections, familiarization trips, and the chance to walk the destinations you sell

WHO YOU ARE
  • A sales hunter with 3+ years of professional sales experience and a track record of going out and getting business, not waiting for it to come to you

  • Entrepreneurial and self-directed. You don’t need a manager telling you to make the next call.

  • Faith-fluent. Comfortable with and respectful of Christian and Catholic pilgrimage traditions, and genuinely passionate about faith-based travel.

  • A strong communicator — written and oral — equally credible in front of a board, a congregation, or one-on-one over coffee

  • Detail-obsessed under pressure. You can run a complex pipeline and still get every itinerary, every name, every date right.

  • Calm, organized, and patient in a fast-paced environment; resilient when timelines compress

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field

  • Fluent in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Willing to travel for training, sales, and event production

  • Willing to put in the time outside 9-to-5 when a deal — or a departure — demands it
