ITINERARY


Day 1: Saturday, June 15 - Depart USA

Depart on independently scheduled flights to Dijon,  France.


Day 2: Sunday, June 16 - Dijon

Arrive in France and transfer on your own to the hotel in  Dijon. Celebrate Mass at the Chartreuse of Champmol.  Then, visit Claus Sluter’s famous statues at the Well of  Moses. Learn about Burgundy during an introductory talk  from Liz Lev and Thomas Williams, followed by a group  dinner. Overnight in Dijon.


Day 3: Monday, June 17 - Dijon

Start your day with Mass at Notre Dame de Dijon.  Afterward, embark on a walking tour through the historic  sites of Dijon. Begin at Église St-Michel, where you can  admire its architectural beauty and soak in the local  atmosphere. Stroll through the vibrant Les Halles Market,  to experience flavors of the region and shop for souvenirs.  Continue to Place de la Libération, a central square that  exudes charm and history. Next, visit the Palais des Ducs,  and explore the treasures housed in the Musée des Beaux Arts, featuring the Dukes of Burgundy tombs. Visit the  Château de Marsannay for a wine tasting experience, where you can savor the renowned Burgundy wines.  Enjoy the afternoon and evening at your leisure to further immerse yourself in the local culture. Overnight in Dijon.


Day 4: Tuesday, June 18 - Dijon | Vezelay | Fontenay 

Depart for the celebration of Mass at Vezelay Abbey  followed by a tour and a group lunch at one of the finest restaurants in the region. Next, your journey continues to  Fontenay Abbey, where you’ll explore the charms of this  quaint city through a guided city tour. Finally, return to  Dijon, where you can spend the remainder of the day at  your leisure. Overnight in Dijon.


Day 5: Wednesday, June 19 - Autun | Beaune

Journey to Autun and celebrate Mass at the Cathedral of  St. Lazarus, considered one of the greatest churches of  the Romanesque era. Tour the Cathedral and neighboring Roman ruins with Liz & Thomas before lunch and wine  tasting at Maison Chanzy. Depart for Beaune and check  into your hotel. The afternoon and evening are yours to  enjoy. Overnight in Beaune.


Day 6: Thursday, June 20 - Beaune

Set out on a walking tour of Beaune, including the  venerable Hospice de Beaune. Celebrate Mass at the  Romanesque collegiate church of Notre Dame de Beaune. For lunch, enjoy some free time to savor local cuisine  at your leisure. Later, depart for Meursault, where you’ll  indulge in a tour and tasting at the prestigious Château de Meursault. Unwind with some spa time at the hotel, and in  the evening, explore Beaune at your own pace. Overnight  in Beaune.


Day 7: Friday, June 21 - Beaune | Paray-Le-Monial | Cluny

This morning, depart for Paray-le-Monial and celebrate  Mass at Apparitions Chapel, followed by a tour of Paray-le-Monial. Gather for a group lunch and then head to Cluny. Enjoy a guided tour of Cluny Abbey and learn the history  of St. Hugh, one of the most influential leaders of the  monastic orders from the Middle Ages and a major figure  in the much-needed church reform a millennium ago. Return to Beaune for a special group farewell dinner and  overnight in Beaune.


Day 8: Saturday, June 22: Return to USA

Transfer to the airport for return flights home.

*This price reflects a $250 per person Early  Booking Discount for deposits received before  December 1, 2024 and a $200 per person Check  Discount for those paying the total cost of the  tour by Check. Payment must be received on  or before the final payment due date.

Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel protection is highly recommended. 


PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS: 

Deposit: $1,000 per person due upon registration

Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due on or before January 3, 2025

Final Payment: Balance due March 3, 2025

Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee. 


All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
