ITINERARY


Day 1: Wednesday, February 5 - Depart USA

Depart for Florence, Italy via overnight flights.


Day 2: Thursday, February 6 - Arrive Florence

Upon arrival in Florence, meet your professional Italian  tour manager and check in to your hotel. Pending  arrival time, take a walking tour of the birthplace of  the Renaissance, including the Baptistry Doors and  see Signoria Square, known as the “open air museum.”  Gather for a special group welcome dinner. Overnight in  Florence.


Day 3: Friday, February 7 - Florence | Duomo Mass

Celebrate Mass at the Duomo, the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Flowers. Embark on a guided tour of the world famous Accademia Gallery which includes Michelangelo’s  iconic statue of David. Spend the afternoon exploring  Florence on your own before a group dinner and  overnight in Florence


Day 4: Saturday, February 8 - Uffizi Gallery | Siena

Tour the world-famous Uffizi Gallery, one of the oldest  and most famous museums and home to masterpieces by Rembrandt, Caravaggio, and DaVinci. Visit the Boboli  Gardens, created in the 16th century by the Medici family located behind the Palazzo Pitti. Later, depart for Siena to enjoy a group dinner and overnight.


Day 5: Sunday, February 9 - Siena | Basilica Mass

Celebrate a morning Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis,  followed by a guided tour of Siena. Visit historic sites,  such as the Cathedral, Piazza del Campo, the Basilica of  St. Dominic, the home of St. Catherine of Siena, and the  Palazzo Público. Experience a special wine tasting/tour  before dinner and overnight in Siena.


Day 6: Monday, February 10 - Assisi Day Excursion | Rome

Depart Siena and journey to Assisi for a guided tour,  including the St. Clare Basilica and St. Francis Basilica.  Enjoy time for lunch and shopping. Continue to Rome for a group dinner and overnight.


Day 7: Tuesday, February 11 - Rome | Holy Doors | Vatican Museums

Celebrate morning Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica. Walk  through the Holy Doors, then visit the Vatican Museums  and the Sistine Chapel, where you will view some of the  most inspiring works of art, including Michelangelo’s  magnificent fresco of the Last Judgement. Spend the  afternoon at leisure before a group dinner and overnight  in Rome.


Day 8: Wednesday, February 12 - Papal Audience | Ancient Rome

Arise early to attend the weekly Papal Audience (pending  the Holy Father’s schedule). Embark upon an afternoon  tour of Ancient Rome including the Colosseum, Roman  Forum and Circus Maximus. Gather for a group dinner  and overnight in Rome.


Day 9: Thursday, February 13 - Christian Rome | Farewell Dinner

Begin the day with a Christian Rome Tour, including St.  Mary Major, St. Paul Outside the Walls, and St. John in  Lateran, which is the Cathedral of Rome. Celebrate Mass  then visit the Holy Steps climbed by Christ in Jerusalem,  and the Basilica of the Holy Cross where some of  Christianity’s most important relics are housed, including  a piece of the True Cross, thorn and nails. Savor a special  farewell dinner at a local restaurant and overnight in  Rome.


Day 10: Friday, February 14 - Depart Rome

Transfer to the Rome airport for return flights home.

*This price reflects a $100 per person Early Booking Discount for deposits received before 5/31/2024 and an $85 per person Check Discount for those paying the remaining balance by check after the initial deposit.

Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel protection is highly recommended. 


PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS:

• Deposit: $500 per person due upon registration

• Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due on or before May 31, 2024 

• Final Payment: Balance due on or before August 31, 2024

Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee. 


All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
