Itinerary
Day 1: Saturday, December 26 - Depart the United States
Your choir pilgrimage begins as you depart the United States on overnight international flights to Rome, Italy. Prepare for a memorable journey filled with faith, sacred music, and fellowship.
Day 2: Sunday, December 27 - Rome | Assisi
Arrive in Rome and meet your Italian Tour Manager. Travel north through the beautiful Umbrian countryside to Assisi. Enjoy lunch en route before checking into your hotel. This evening, gather with your group for a Welcome Dinner. Overnight in Assisi.
Day 3: Monday, December 28 - Assisi
After breakfast, celebrate Mass at the Basilica of St. Francis, where your choir will sing during a Public Mass. A guided visit follows, including the Basilica and the nearby Church of St. Clare. After lunch on your own, visit the tomb of Blessed Carlo Acutis. Enjoy free time for dinner and exploring Assisi’s charming streets. Overnight in Assisi.
Day 4: Tuesday, December 29 - Assisi | Orvieto | Rome
Depart Assisi for Rome, stopping in Orvieto to visit the magnificent Orvieto Cathedral, home to the Eucharistic Miracle of Bolsena. After lunch in this picturesque hilltop town, continue to Rome and check into your hotel. Later enjoy time at leisure to visit the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Rome.
Day 5: Wednesday, December 30 - Vatican City
Early departure for a Papal Audience (schedule permitting). Your choir will sing during a Public Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica. Afterward enjoy a guided tour of the basilica. Following free time for lunch, explore the renowned Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel. Overnight in Rome.
Day 6: Thursday, December 31 - Major Basilicas | New Year’s Eve
After breakfast visit either St. John Lateran or St. Paul Outside the Walls, two of Rome’s great basilicas. Enjoy free time for exploring the Eternal City before gathering for a festive New Year’s Eve dinner and celebration. Overnight in Rome.
Day 7: Friday, January 1 - Rome
Enjoy a relaxed morning before attending Public Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica on the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God. Lunch and dinner are on your own. Overnight in Rome.
Day 8: Saturday, January 2 - Rome
Your choir will perform in concert following a Public Mass at Santa Maria Sopra Minerva. Later, discover Ancient Rome on a guided tour including the iconic Colosseum. Celebrate your pilgrimage with a Farewell Dinner. Overnight in Rome.
Day 9: Sunday, January 3 - Return Home
Transfer to the airport for your return flights to the United States, bringing home unforgettable memories of faith, music, and pilgrimage in Italy.
