ITINERARY
Day 1: Friday, November 15 - Depart USA
Depart as a group from Detroit to Rome via overnight flights.
Day 2: Saturday, November 16 - Arrival in Rome | Assisi
Upon arrival in Rome, meet your Italian tour manager and board your private motor coach for a transfer to Assisi. Celebrate Mass before checking in to your hotel and freshening up for a welcome dinner. Overnight in Assisi.
Day 3: Sunday, November 17 - Assisi
Celebrate Mass at Basilica of St. Francis, the largest church in Assisi. Continue your day with a visit to the Church of St. Mary Major, where Blessed Carlos Acutis rests, and have an opportunity pray at his tomb. Then, stop by the Church of St. Clare to see the San Damiano Cross before spending the remainder of the day at leisure. Enjoy local cuisine and an overnight in Assisi.
Day 4: Monday, November 18 - Orvieto | Rome
Check out of your hotel and depart for Orvieto. Celebrate Mass at the Duomo, followed by a brief tour, lunch, and free time to explore the city before traveling to Rome. Check in to your hotel and gather for a group dinner before spending your first night in the Eternal City.
Day 5: Tuesday, November 19 - Christian Rome
Awaken to attend a private Mass at St. Mary Major Basilica with Archbishop Makrickas (pending confirmation). Then, take a drive over to St. John Lateran for a guided tour and visit to the Holy Stairs. Time permitting, visit the Basilica of Santa Croce, with the remainder of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Rome.
Day 6: Wednesday, November 20 - Papal Audience | San Clemente | Ancient Rome
Begin the day by attending the Papal Audience in St. Peter’s Square. After some time on your own, embark on a guided tour of Ancient Rome. Then celebrate Mass at San Clemente, followed by a tour given by Fr. Zaid’s good friend, Fr. Cyril Pinchak. Round out the evening with a special pasta making class and group dinner on Tiber Island. Overnight in Rome.
Day 7: Thursday, November 21 - Walking Tour of Rome
Celebrate a morning Mass at Santa Maria Sopra Minerva before a walking tour of the Pantheon and Sant’ Agnese. Visit the Churches of San Agostino, San Luigi, and Chiesa Gesu, with an opportunity to explore the cafes and shops of Piazza Navona. The remainder of the day and evening is at your leisure. Overnight in Rome.
Day 8: Friday, November 22 - St. Peter’s Basilica | Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel
Start your final day in Rome with Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica, followed by a guided tour of the church, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel. Take the rest of the day to explore and revisit your favorite locations before enjoying a farewell dinner. Overnight in Rome.
Day 9: Saturday, November 23 - Depart for the USA
Bid arrivederci a Roma! Check-out of the hotel and depart for the airport for your return flights back to the USA.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS:
Deposit: $500 per person due upon registration
Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due 150 days prior to departure (6/18/2024)
Final Payment: Balance due on or before 90 days prior to departure (8/18/2024)
Please note late payments will incur a $50 late fee.
All cancellations must be received in writing. Payments are non-refundable and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions, including the CTS Liability Release. CTS reserves the right to cancel any reservation if payments are not made according to the payment schedule. A $25 fee will be added to any reinstated reservation.
