Join Fr. Tony Sulkowski and St. Jane Frances de Chantal parish on a pilgrimage to Austria and the Czech Republic in September 2024! Celebrate Mass in beautiful churches and experience the rich music, history, and culture of the region including visits to Schonbrunn Palace, Mirabel Gardens, and Melk Abbey.


•Round trip scheduled commercial economy air from Detroit, MI (DTW) to Vienna (VIE) and Prague (PRG) to Detroit, MI (DTW) (including fuel surcharges and government-imposed fees of $300 as of August 2022, final amount subject to change) 

•6 nights’ accommodations at 4-star hotels • 2 nights in Vienna • 2 nights in Salzburg • 2 nights in Prague

Day 1: Monday, September 16 - Depart for Vienna

Depart from Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) for Vienna

Day 2: Tuesday, September 17 - Arrival Vienna

Arrive to Vienna Airport and meet your tour manager. Transfer to hotel and check in. Celebrate Mass at a local church followed by a special Welcome Dinner. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 3: Wednesday, September 18 - Vienna

After breakfast at the hotel, our morning tour of Vienna takes us to the Old Town, walking through the university and Opera House, passing by many of Vienna’s landmarks such as the Hofburg Palace, Albertina, Donner Fountain, Spanish Riding School and St. Stephen Cathedral. After lunch on your own, proceed toward Schonbrunn Palace for a tour of the Palace and Gardens. Celebrate Mass at the Carmelite Convent (subject to confirmation). Dinner on your own. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 4: Thursday, September 19 - Vienna - Melk Abbey - Salzburg

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart for Melk Abbey. Celebrate Mass in Melk Abbey, a Baroque-style Benedictine abbey on the Danube River, surrounded by a town with Renaissance homes and winding streets reminiscent of the Middle Ages. After lunch on your own, proceed to Salzburg. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Salzburg.

Day 5: Friday, September 20 -  Salzburg - Sound of Music

Start the morning with breakfast at the hotel, followed by Mass at a local church. Explore Salzburg with a panoramic city tour including Mirabel Gardens and Benedictine Abbey. Pass by Mozart's home which is one of Austria's most famous musicians. Free time for some shopping and lunch on your own in Salzburg. This afternoon, visit the pilgrimage Shrine of Maria Plain. After, depart for the Sound of Music Tour, which includes marvelous views of the Salzkammergut region. Return to Salzburg. Group Dinner. Overnight in Salzburg.

Day 6: Saturday, September 21 - Salzburg - Cesky Krumlov - Prague

After breakfast check out of the hotel and depart for Prachatice, the hometown of St. John Neuman. This is a most beloved Pilgrimage destination in veneration of the Virgin Mary, as well as a special source of spiritual power and a place of retreat. Celebrate Mass at a local parish church. After,  continue on to the town of Cesky Krumlov, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its well-preserved Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture. Lunch on your own. Proceed to Prague. Check into hotel and enjoy dinner on your own. Overnight in Prague.

Day 7: Sunday, September 22 - Prague

After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Prague, focusing on Hradcany Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, the Royal Castle, and St. George’s Basilica. Continue on to Mala Strana, a charming district of Renaissance palaces and gardens, with an idyllic riverside setting. Then continue on to St. Nicholas Church of Our Lady Victorious, where we see the Statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague. Mass at the Shrine of our Lady Victorious (subject to confirmation). Lunch at Lobkowicz palace (subject to confirmation). This afternoon cross Charles Bridge visiting the Old Town, viewing the Market Square “Astronomical clock” and Wenceslas Square. Dinner & Folklore at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Prague.

Day 8: Monday, September 23 - Prague departure

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Transfer to Prague International airport for our departure flight.

$125 Cash discount when all subsequent payments are made with check





Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel protection is highly recommended. 


Deposit:  $350 + travel protection, if selected, per person due upon registration

Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due 150 days prior to departure (4/19/24) 

Final Payment: Balance due on or before 75 days prior to departure (7/3/24) 

All payments are non-refundable, and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions including the CTS Liability Release. All cancellations must be  received in writing. Penalties will be determined according to postmark date, or date of the fax or email sent by the cancelling passenger
