Embark on a Catholic pilgrimage with Fr. Chris Stanish to explore the spiritual treasures of France. Begin in Rouen and see where Joan of Arc would change the history of France. Followed by Omaha Beach, a place of reflection and remembrance. Embark on an excursion to beautiful Mont St. Michel, reachable during low tide. Continue your journey to Lisieux, where you'll discover the life of St. Thérèse at her family home. Then, on to Paris to visit the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur atop Montmartre and the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal to honor St. Catherine Laboure. Finally, experience the miraculous waters of Lourdes, where the Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous. This pilgrimage promises enlightenment, reflection, and deep connection to Catholic heritage in the heart of France.

Itinerary

Day 1: Saturday, May 18 - Depart USA

Depart the USA for Paris, France via overnight flights.


Day 2: Sunday, May 19 - Paris | Rouen | Caen

Upon arrival at the Paris airport, you will be met by your European tour manager and driver. Travel to Rouen, a medieval gem once Normandy’s  capital. See the place where a young girl by the name of Joan of Arc would change the history of France. Celebrate Mass at the Church of St. Joan  of Arc, followed by leisure time for lunch on your own. Journey to Caen and conclude the day with a welcome dinner. Overnight in Caen.


Day 3: Monday, May 20 - Omaha Beach

Embark on your first full day, starting with Mass at Bayeux’s Cathedral of Notre Dame de Bayeux. Continue to Omaha Beach, used by the American  troops during the D-Day landings of 1944. At Colleville-sur-Mer’s American Cemetery, reflect on sacrifices made and honor fallen soldiers. Back in  Caen, enjoy an evening to experience dinner on your own. Overnight in Caen.


Day 4: Tuesday, May 21 - Mont St. Michel

Today, enjoy an excursion to see the unique beauty of Mont Saint Michel. Perched on a rock in the Gulf of Saint-Malo, it is one of the most famous  abbeys in the world. Mont Saint Michel transforms into an island fortress when the tide is high, while the pathway to the mainland is only open  and reachable when the tide is low. Celebrate Mass at the Abbey of Mont St. Michel, followed by an afternoon calvados tasting. Return to Caen  for dinner on your own and overnight.


Day 5: Wednesday, May 22 -  Lisieux | Paris

Check out of the hotel and depart Caen for Lisieux to explore St. Therese’s life with a visit to the Cathedral of St. Peter and her family home, Les  Buissonets (pending hours of operation). View relics, clothing, and personal belongings of the Little Flower. Pay homage to the Virgin Mary statue  who smiled at St. Therese and cured her illness. Pray with the Carmelite sisters in the Carmel Chapel, just as St. Therese did before she died in  1897, then celebrate Mass at the Basilica of Lisieux. Following your Lisieux visit, journey to Paris for a panoramic bus tour of the “City of Light,”  taking in iconic sites such as Champs Elysees, the Arch de Triomphe, and the Eiffel Tower. Check into your Paris hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner.  Overnight in Paris.


Day 6: Thursday, May 23 - Paris

This morning, celebrate Mass at the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal. Witness the incorrupt body of St. Catherine Laboure, who was led by her  guardian angel to the chapel where the Blessed Virgin displayed visions of the miraculous medal and green scapular. Explore the Church of St.  Vincent de Paul, followed by lunch on your own. In the afternoon, visit the renowned Louvre Museum. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Enjoy  dinner on your own and overnight in Paris.


Day 7: Friday, May 24 - Paris

Experience a morning of exploration in the Montmartre Quarter. Visit the Basilica of Sacre Coeur, where perpetual adoration of the Blessed  Sacrament has occurred since 1885. Celebrate Mass at the Basilica of Sacre Coeur. End the day with a Seine River cruise and dinner at a local  restaurant. Overnight in Paris.


Day 8: Saturday, May 25 - Lourdes

Take the TGV bullet train from Paris to Lourdes, known for its connection to the life of St. Bernadette. Celebrate Mass in a Lourdes chapel, followed  by a group dinner. Join the optional evening candlelight procession. Overnight in Lourdes.


Day 9: Sunday, May 26 - Lourdes

Start your day with Mass at the Grotto. Then visit Boly Mill, where St. Bernadette was born, and the “Cachot,” an abandoned prison where St.  Bernadette’s family lived. Pray for the sick, drink from the miraculous spring, or experience the healing baths with pilgrims worldwide. Experience  Christ’s love as you walk the life-sized Stations of the Cross overlooking the holy Grotto. The remainder of the day is dedicated to personal  devotions. Savor a celebratory farewell dinner and overnight in Lourdes.


Day 10: Monday, May 27 - Return to USA

An early morning transfer will take you to Toulouse for return flights home.

Deposit: $500 per person due upon registration

Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due 150 days prior to departure (12/20/23) 

Final Payment: Balance due on or before 90 days prior to departure (2/16/23) 


All payments are non-refundable, and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions including the CTS Liability Release. All cancellations must be  received in writing. Penalties will be determined according to postmark date, or date of the fax or email sent by the cancelling passenger
