ITINERARY


Day 1: Wednesday, August 28 - Depart USA

Depart USA on your independent overnight flights to  Budapest, Hungary.


Day 2: Thursday, August 29 - Arrival in Budapest

Welcome to Budapest! Upon arrival, transfer on your own to the hotel and check in. Take time to relax before joining the group for an inviting welcome dinner. Overnight in Budapest.


Day 3: Friday, August 30 - St. Stephen’s Basilica | Parliament | Archabbey of Pannonhalma

The morning begins with a Mass sung by Floriani. Afterwards, visit St. Stephen’s Basilica and the House of Parliament before departing to the Archabbey of Pannonhalma, the resting place of the heart of Otto van Habsburg (son of Blessed Karl). Enjoy a group lunch and exclusive wine tasting before experiencing Floriani’s  first performance in Hungary. Overnight in Budapest.


Day 4: Saturday, August 31 - Inner City Parish | Ministry of Culture | Film Studio Tour

After a morning Mass, tour the Inner-City Parish  Church, where Emperor Franz Joseph (Blessed Karl’s  predecessor) took his royal vows. Meet with the Hungarian Ministry of Culture, and tour the famous  Hungarian movie production studios. Enjoy the remainder of the evening at your leisure to experience local cuisine. Overnight in Budapest.


Day 5: Sunday, September 1 -  Solemn Mass | Opera Show

After attending a solemn Mass sung by Floriani, take the  rest of the day to explore the city on your own. Convene as a group for dinner and a show at the Hungarian State Opera. Overnight in Budapest.


Day 6: Monday, September 2 - Matthias Church & Buda Castle | Habsburg Family Crypt | Buda Eliberata  Mass

Embark on a visit to Matthias Church and the Buda Castle.  Afterwards, tour the Habsburg family crypt at the Royal  Palace, guided by a descendant of the Habsburg family  line. Attend the Buda Eliberata Mass, which celebrates  the anniversary of Hungary’s independence, celebrated  by the Military Bishop of Hungary. Savor local cuisine on  your own and overnight in Budapest.


Day 7: Tuesday, September 3 - Danube Institute | Abbey of Gödöllő

Begin your last full day in Hungary with Mass sung by  Floriani. Visit the headquarters of the Danube Institute, located on the Danube River, where you will relax and  converse over a group lunch. Then, depart to the Norbertine Abbey of Gödöllő for Floriani’s final performance. Return to Budapest for a memorable  farewell dinner. Overnight in Budapest.


Day 8: Wednesday, September 4 - Depart Hungary

Say goodbye to Hungary as you depart Budapest on your  independent flights back to the USA.

Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel protection is highly recommended. 


PAYMENT SCHEDULE AND CANCELLATION TERMS 

Deposit: $1,500 per person due upon registration

Final Payment: Balance due on or before May 30, 2024


All payments are non-refundable, and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions including the CTS Liability Release. All cancellations must be  received in writing. Penalties will be determined according to postmark date, or date of the fax or email sent by the cancelling passenger
