Day 1: Thursday, July 25 - Depart USA

Depart on overnight flights from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport to Munich, Germany.

Day 2: Friday, July 26 - Arrive in Munich

Upon arrival in Munich you will be met by your English-speaking tour guide and transfer by motorcoach to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy free time  to settle in before celebrating an Opening Mass at Asamkirche Church. Welcome Dinner and overnight in Munich.

Day 3: Saturday, July 27 - Munich | Hofbräuhaus

Begin the morning with a guided sightseeing tour of Munich. Highlights include Marienplatz with the famous Glockenspiel, Frauenkirche, the town  hall, the boulevard Feldherrenhalle Ludwigsstrasse Siegestor, Residenz palace, and Hofgarten. Celebrate Mass at Frauenkirche Church, and then  have free time in the afternoon. Conclude the day with a festive dinner at Hofbräuhaus Restaurant. Overnight in Munich.

Day 4: Sunday, July 28 - Bamberg

After breakfast, depart for Bamberg to celebrate Mass at the Cathedral. Enjoy time for personal prayer to venerate the tombs of Emperor Henry II,  honoring 1000 years since his death, and his wife, St. Cunegund. Visit the Diocesan Museum followed by a walking tour of the quaint town. Enjoy  lunch on your own and incredible views of St. Michael’s Monastery before returning to Munich. Dinner on your own and overnight in Munich.

Day 5: Monday, July 29 -  Oberammergau | Neuschwanstein Castle

Journey to the little village of Oberammergau, home of the famous Passion Play of the life of Christ. The play dates back to 1633 when the Plague,  took a severe toll of lives in the small village. In their distress, the inhabitants turned to God and vowed that if the pestilence was taken from them,  they would perform a play every ten years, depicting the suffering and death of the Savior. Celebrate Mass at the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul  before enjoying lunch as a group. Then, continue to the famous fairy-tale Neuschwanstein Castle, a 19th century Romanesque Bavarian palace.  Return to Munich for dinner on your own. Overnight in Munich.

Day 6: Tuesday, July 30 - Munich | Nymphenburg | Dachau

Enjoy a morning at leisure before departing for Nymphenburg. Built as a summer residence for Bavarian kings, the Nymphenburg Palace is a  magnificent structure artistically shaped over its history. Exhibiting both baroque and rococo styles, with fantastic frescos and tapestries. After time  for lunch on your own, continue to Dachau Concentration Camp. Originally designed for the detention of German opponents of the Nazi regime,  the camp was soon flooded by tens of thousands of deportees, the majority of them Jews of diverse nationalities. Celebrate Mass at the Carmelite  chapel in Dachau. Then return to Munich for dinner on your own and overnight in Munich

Day 7: Wednesday, July 31 - Salzburg

After breakfast, early morning departure for Salzburg, Austria. Celebrate Mass at Maria Plain Shrine, then explore Salzburg with a panoramic city  tour including Mirabel Gardens, Mozart’s home (exterior), and a gondola ride to Hohensalzburg Fortress for a bird’s-eye view of the city. Enjoy  lunch on your own before embarking on the Sound of Music Tour, which includes marvelous views of the Salzkammergut region. Return to Munich  for a celebratory Farewell Dinner. Overnight in Munich.

Day 8: Thursday, August 1 - Return to USA

Morning hotel check-out and transfer to Munich Airport for return flights back home

*This price reflects a $100 per person Early Booking Discount for deposits received before 1/25/2024 and an $122 per person Check Discount for those paying the remaining balance by check after the initial deposit.




Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel protection is highly recommended. 


Deposit: $350 per person due upon registration

Second Deposit: $1,250 additional due 150 days prior to departure (2/26/24) 

Final Payment: Balance due on or before 90 days prior to departure (4/26/24) 

All payments are non-refundable, and subject to CTS Terms and Conditions including the CTS Liability Release. All cancellations must be  received in writing. Penalties will be determined according to postmark date, or date of the fax or email sent by the cancelling passenger
